R.I.P. Michael Joseph Jackson
At 3:23 P.M. EST on June 25th, 2009, my stepfather ran into the room in sort of a panic and announced that Michael Jackson was dead.
And the first thing I thought mentally and out loud was... "Nuh uh."
One of the greatest musical geniuses ever. The great singer behind the number one best-selling album around the world of all time, Thriller. A fragile man who was innocent of any wrongdoing despite the rumors and lawsuits and stayed strong even through all the prejudice.
A man who seemed untouchable.
I think I can honestly say a part of my childhood left with him. And I'm sure the same goes for many.
May he find the rest and peace in heaven that he wasn't granted on Earth. God bless his soul.

He may be gone, but his work and legacy will live on, like he wanted.
Also, listen to his song "You Are Not Alone", too, if you can. I listened to it today, and though I don't usually shed tears for passed celebrities, I actually cried a little listening to this song. I've known he was gone for two days but I think when I listened to that song today it really hit me.
R.I.P. Farah Fawcett
She's not as well-known as Michael Jackson, and she was before my time, her death isn't any less insignificant and she will be missed dearly, as well. Much love and condolences to her family, friends, and fans.
Please keep their family, friends and other loved ones in your thoughts and prayers (or just your thoughts, if you're not religious).

My stepdad, said when he was little he wrote a letter to MJ while he was in the Jackson 5, saying he wanted to join there band (he said he was white though XD) and MJ replied! He said there band wasn't recruiting members currently and some other stuff. Imagine if my stepdad found that letter!
On subeta (dun know if you heard of it) they're giving away single sequined gloves as a tribute, I think almost everything is doing some sort of tribute. Tis sad, quite sad.
My grandmother had told me about Farrah Fawcett being on her death bed quite a bit, and now she dies aswell. And on the same day as MJ, quite a coincident. Still is very sad though...

It really is tragic what happened. He was a musical genius. I don't think there's ever been this much shock at the death of a celebrity since the death of Elvis Presley. My parents, and you, and me, and our entire generation; we all grew up on Michael Jackson. It was so upsetting.

He has to be the worst idol ever.
Some people need personalities.
But Mr. Jackson was a human being, like the rest of us, he deserves respect. And most people forget he didn't really molest children, he was proven innocent. Some greedy people just wanted to sue him for money.
